A client has a critical report that runs a commission payout number based on any sales that occurred in the Past 13 full months.
We had set up some views utilizing the ‘is on or after’ category, and then ‘Number of months ago’ = 13 months.
The expectation was that it looks back at chunks of time defined as complete months.
AKA today on Sept. 24 2026 it should show data from Aug 1, 2025 forward.
That isn’t the case however. We have some records time stamped as Aug 11, 2025 and they are not appearing in this report.
If I adjust those to Aug 24 or Aug 25, 2025 then they suddenly get collected in the filter.
It seems to be converting the ‘Number of months ago’ into a relative number of days, going only back to the exact date line, not the complete month.
But this technically makes the filter option for ‘Number of months ago’ no different than the ‘Number of days ago’
Because those are two explicitly separate choices, I feel it is a bug, and can lead to misleading data reported when users trust the filter label at face value.
