Webinar Description:

On this webinar, we will dive into a hidden feature within the “Execute a script” Tape automation: the use of await tape. This functionality enables you to build advanced scripts and automations that can interact seamlessly with the Tape platform.

Additionally, we will cover the process of how to use the Turn into feature to convert regular Tape actions directly into scripts, giving you more flexibility. Learn how to transform your existing automations into more robust and dynamic solutions using the power of the “Execute a script” automation block.

Thank you @Luis, just watched it…
Still trying to wrap my mind around it.
Great presentation for await examples from both of you and @Jason.
Relations… can’t wait to use it action. I think this will be one of those things that you will find new options even later after some time
Amazing work as always Tape team :ok_hand:

Hey @Tim … Any exciting updates on how soon you might let us get access to start playing with those amazing new relationship field features?!

I know…I know…I can’t actually ask that and rush you on such an important feature release. Sorry.
But I’ve just been SO excited to play with it since we saw the demo a few weeks ago.

I have a client application that will rely heavily on those new features (and hopefully a Date field option in the new record type soon!) but I keep pushing that request out for the client since I don’t want to release it with the ‘old’ workaround approach and then get this amazing new approach shortly after.

Waiting patiently. But anxiously

Hi @CarsonRedCliffLabs,

thank you so much for your message, we really appreciate your excitement :100: We feel exactly the same on our side.

Good news: we’re in the very final QA phase now, and things are looking really good. We’re currently polishing some of the last details around permissions, forms and mobile for the new relation field to make sure everything is fully secure, and works smoothly across all platforms.

We’re confident that we’ll be able to release within the next seven days :blue_heart:

We’ve already built some demo spaces with the new features, and it’s exciting to see what’s now possible. Many of the things people have been missing (in Tape and in Podio) are now finally there, it’s a big step forward!

After the release, we’ll quickly iterate on feedback. And the date field is already next and will be much faster to deliver.

Thanks again for your patience, not much longer now :rocket:

Have a great evening!

Cheers,
Leo
