Consider adding Latenode to the roadmap. It’s quite good since it operates on a flow run basis, using time consumption credits.
Their plans beat Zapier or even Make.com
I believe they would be keen.

With Tape’s 5 million automation actions per month, I haven’t run into any limits so far. The Tape team also recently confirmed that this limit will stay in place: Podio Hybrid Pricing – Tape Action Limit? - #9 by dirk_s
Have you been using Latenode yourself for a while, or have you tested it more extensively? It still seems fairly new compared with the other platforms. I currently use both Make.com and n8n for some specific use cases, so apart from the pricing model, do you see any major advantages to Latenode over either of them?

Good thing you mentioned the Podio move. We are in Podio, but after the recent announcement seems there are no reasons for us to keep our business there anymore.
I have been following Tape a few years now and I believe that is the right alternative. The fact that the 5M actions / month will keep in place is a deal breaker.
I use Make and Latenode for different things.
Make, more on simple operations sync Mailchimp and other platforms with Podio, and Latenode on a MySQL basis.
Because I’m not a code guy, the fact that Latenode AI helps you to create the customs connections with the platforms its fantastic. Most of these platforms now have this, but Latenode got on how simple it can be. Indeed, they are new and still building their place in the market, but they have these credits approach that got me:
Make: a scenario with 3 steps and 100 actions and it takes 1 minute to finish - it consumes at least 103 credits/actions from your plafond.
Latenode: the same scenario with the same number of actions it will only consume 2 credits (1 credit each 30 second)
My plans are as below. Doing the math, I believe you will see who’s the winner.
- Make 10K
- Latenode 2K
I have a good monthly plan with Latenode (kind of legacy plan). They changed the name, but I believe the same approach is still in place.
Latenode platform is not so strong as Make, but for my case it works like a charm.
I like to have options because even with the 5M actions there are some things that you still can’t do as fast as with a connector.
I think that Tape adding Make, Latenode or even n8n (which looks a lot like Latenode on the credits approach) is an important step.
Guess you will see me a lot more around here in the future. (With a lot of “How can I do this…”)

I’ve already had a quick look at Latenode, but I can see that I would need to invest quite a bit of time to understand it properly. Before adding another tool to my setup, I’d like to learn from your experience. Since you have already used make.com and Latenode in real workflows, your perspective is much more helpful than trying to figure everything out from scratch.
One thing I may still not fully understand is why Make.com remains your preferred option for the simpler workflows, despite Latenode’s lower credit usage. Is Make quicker or easier for those use cases, does it offer more integrations, or does it simply come down to personal preference? Any of those reasons would make complete sense.
