Procfu mini apps for Tape or alternative

Hi Tape and Tape Community,
is tape supported with procfu mini apps? or is there any alternative solution?

Cheers,

Procfu mini apps are available with Tape. Here is more info https://community.tapeapp.com/t/procfu-beta/1444/2

I tried using Procfu before, but could not get over the UI/UX (it is honestly quite ugly). Still, I may give it a chance in the future because it is indeed powerful.

Another platform that I have been looking at is Google Appsheets, but to integrate it with Tape, you would need Appsheet Enterprise for AppSheet API access. Although the API integration does not look that complex to build on Tape, I’m not convinced it’s worth the price of Appsheet Enterprise.

I love appsheets for what it is. AppSheets → Google sheets → zapper or whatever you like → tape

I built out a harvest tracker for a community garden recently. The data lives inside of sheets and then updates a looker studio dashboard. I never thought about moving it into Tape before now.

Also, I agree, the UI is very ugly. That’s one of the main reasons I’ve stayed away from Mini Apps too. It’s unfortunate.

The ProcFu UI is only ugly if you don’t customize it at all.

The below shows a ProcFu portal I recently built. I think the portal is far from ugly:

Client Portal - 23 May 2025 - Watch Video

Once you’ve built one nice looking portal you can reuse your base css/html styles over and over and just switch out your color variables.

Another program that builds really nice portals relatively quickly is WeWeb but I think ProcFu is a lot quicker to get going with especially if you know some basic html, css and js (or know how to use AI).

ProcFu mini apps work very well with Tape. I have built portals for clients with it. Here’s - https://procfuguide.com/ with a lot of tips/tricks that I have written for the platform. Happy to assist you if you need any help in getting up and running with ProcFu.
