For the best user experience, sometimes every little detail matters. The active style of a field is one of those small visual details that guides focus, clarity, and speed.
That’s why we’ve added customization for the active style.
This has been in testing for a while, and we’re now rolling it out.
You can now customize how fields look while they’re being edited.
Previously, active style had a single default highlight. It worked, but it didn’t always fit the visual language of your record, your brand, or how strong you wanted the focus to be.
Now you can choose your own active border style:
- Light – minimal and clean
- Solid – clear and confident
- Strong – high-contrast and unmistakable
- Glow – modern, expressive focus
And: you can pick the color.
Customize the active border style while editing, for example in text fields.
For select fields shown as a list or as checkbox options, you can now customize the selected option color, too. When navigating with your keyboard, the selected option shows the border style you choose.
