When using the Tape API to retrieve record information, the Tape API response, by design, skips empty fields that you have on the app record. As a result, when a field is skipped, the next field takes its place in the API response, which can lead to inaccuracies in the data displayed on external systems. In this webinar, I will explain how to avoid this issue by:
- Creating an intermediate JSON file hosted on jsonbin.io
- Using Tape “Execute a Script” automation to generate a custom JSON file with data from any Tape record.
- Integrating a JSONbin API script to automatically create and update the JSON data.
- Demonstrating how to dynamically use the JSON data in an external application.
