When editing a field name in the layout editor, holding Backspace can continue deleting past the end of the current field name and affect the field above it. This can unintentionally rename adjacent fields and, if Enter is pressed to recover, create extra fields or other layout issues. The result is confusing and can corrupt the intended field naming structure during editing.
