Overview
When multiple prefilled links for the same form are opened, the prefill values appear to be shared across all links instead of remaining isolated per URL. Changing one link’s prefill causes the other open links to update to the same values, even when those links were originally configured for different fields. This prevents sending multiple request forms to a client in sequence, because each opened form will end up reverting to the last prefill state.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a form with a category field that includes at least 2 options.
- Generate separate prefilled URLs for each category (for example, Logo and Newsletter).
- Open multiple prefilled links in separate tabs.
- Edit the prefill value in one tab (for example, change
testertonot tester). - Return to the other open tabs and observe that their prefill values update to match the last edited link.
- Optionally refresh the page; the displayed category/prefill may continue to reflect the most recently changed link rather than the original URL.
- What is the best way to send a form that utilizes multiple custom prefill links?
- Am I overlooking something on my end?
