πŸ†• Clear all your form data with one click

Small update, big cleanup.

You can now clear all form data with a single click while building forms.

A bit more context:
As always in forms, you can enter real data in fields directly into an unlocked form. This is useful for:

  • Seeing how your form actually looks and works with real input
  • Testing features like show/hide rules using live conditional logic

This way, you see the form exactly as your users will.
Test logic, try ideas, and make live changes as you go.
No preview mode needed. Just fast, live editing.

And when you want to start fresh, clearing each field manually slows things down.
That’s why we added the Clear button: one click, and all fields are empty.
It only shows up when you hover, so it stays out of the way until you need it.
Now live in forms private beta.

:bulb:Imagine using rules (we’re working on):
You pick a value β†’ a rule triggers β†’ new fields appear.
After a few test runs, your form is full of dummy data.
Instead of clearing it all by hand…
Just one click. Empty fields. A clean slate – thanks to the new clear button.

Amazing! I’d expect nothing less.

One thing to consider with conditional logic is the ability to show/hide groups of fields. I feel like I remember this being part of the plan and previously mentioned, BUT I wanted to speak it into existence just in case I’m misremembering.

It will be much easier/faster to build in depth solutions.
