Right now, adding a new relation means clicking “+”, having the relation page open, and then typing everything from scratch.
It would be much smoother if, when linking to a record that doesn’t exist yet (e.g. linking a person to a Contacts app), I could just type the name directly in the relation search field. If no match comes up, hitting Enter (or the “+” button) would open the new record page with that name already pre-filled — I’d just need to save it.
This would save a lot of repetitive typing and would make a real difference across every app that uses relation fields.
