@cguild, of course! You can select the filter for each member field. If it is not part of your process that someone sets the member, you could also have it set with an automation according to certain rules.

@Leo ahhh I see! This is what I was doing, but I have about 25 filters for each of my 25 members and hit the 250 team view filters fast and can not add more. The idea was to have a member or user filter directly on the dashboard level and not on the filter view level.

Not sure if this helps but we set personal filters as private on the dash. You can have 100 private filters per user if I remember correctly.

Yes this is good start but still limits us in many ways that an additional filter ability on the dashboard app itself would heavily reduce our filter counts.

@Leo I apologize for repeatedly bringing this up, but this issue is becoming increasingly critical as our team relies more on dashboards. Recently, a change to one field in TAPE required us to update 100 filters—each differing only by the assigned user to enable individual dashboard views. If we could add one more filter on the dashboard side, I could create a single master filter and then segment by market and/or user directly on the dashboard.

I’ve attached a mock-up showing a possible placement and how this could function. Could we prioritize this enhancement? It would greatly improve our team’s day-to-day use of TAPE, especially as dashboards become essential for managing projects.

We really appreciate your thoughtful input and the context you’ve provided. It’s incredibly valuable for us to understand how your team is working with dashboards and where we can make improvements to better support your workflows.

The enhancement you suggested absolutely makes sense, and in fact, we already have a similar feature on our roadmap. However, we are currently fully focused on the new record layout, forms, and the mobile app. Once those are live, we’ll take a closer look at dashboard enhancements like the one you proposed and evaluate what’s feasible.

Really appreciate your continued input and collaboration - it means a lot to us!
