We are trying to understand this data behaviour, but I couldnt get whats going on… If anyone has already experienced that and could fix, I would appreciate a lot…
Dashboards are game changing, but we need to be sure they’re reflecting the correct data.
thank you very much for this bug report.
I have just analyzed your report in detail and I firmly assume a time zone issue in your case.
We need to understand from the development side exactly what is causing the problem in your timezone and get back to you here if we need more info, if not we will fix it directly and get back to you here as well.
we are currently working on a fix. As suspected, it is a time zone issue.
Would it be possible for you to give us access to the workspace or the apps so that we can check if the fix works? After checking, you can then remove us again. It would be best if you invite tim@tapeapp.com to do this.
Thank you very much for the report!
If it is a similar issue to the one already fixed, it should not be a big problem to fix it.
Could you maybe upload the screenshots again. Currently they are not displayed. Maybe we can already identify the problem with the images so that Tim knows what to look for in your workspace if he still has access.
Leo, I have just edited the images, hope it will show to you as well.
Yes, Tim is still there, hope we can figure out whats going on, its a really strange behaviour, and you can try to reproduce it by adding subgroups to single line charts (subgroup by Status).
I just message Tim directly via community, but I think it might be better to expose it here.
When we access a dashboard inside Tape, once we click a bullet point, it is shown the data source with the filter applied, so it will sum the amount we clicked at the bullet point.
But this behaviour is not happening when we access the shared workspace (even though the source app is also there). It is only directing to the application, but not filtering the data.
Is this the expected behaviour on a shared dashboard workspace, or is it a bug we are facing in our structure?
First of all, regarding your first issue, we also suspect a time zone issue here, as the totals for February 2025 match in our time zone and not in yours.
We’ll be proving a fix here soon.
The issue with filtering in the share without login is actually a missing feature.
We wanted to wait for customer feedback here first. Have actually deactivated the click, then the bug is rather that the click works for you.
However, we can evaluate the time required to include the filters into the special share URL and provide for this in the final QA of the dashboards in the coming weeks.
could you please check again? We have rolled out a fix that should solve the problem.
Unfortunately the fix from the group time zone issue did not cover the sub groups, now the values should match.
