[DONE] Forms bug: Hide title not working on embed and/or mobile

Hi all,
After pressing the ā€œHide titleā€ on top of the form (hidden menu), I still can see it in an embed I have. The link works as expected but for some reason this is still present in the embed in a calculation field.

Thanks a lot.
Best,
R.J.

P.S. I noticed that these embeds on pc are not showing the title, this is happening in Tape’s mobile app.

Hi all,
I can confirm this is also happening in mobile (the title is showing up even if the hide title option has been marked previously in the form).

Just in case this helps for troubleshooting: I tested opening in a fullscreen pc window and the form loads perfectly without the title showing up, even when shrinking after loading the form to any size. But when simulating a phone (with browser dev tools for example) and then loading the form, we can clearly see the title showing up.

Thanks.
Best.

Hi @R.J,

Thanks so much for the report and for all the detailed testing you did.

We were able to verify the bug on our side. It actually happens because depending on sidebar or app bar navigation, the settings for showing or hiding the title are saved separately. This is designed so users can have different title settings in both navigation types.

However, there seems to be an issue right now where this doesn’t work as intended, and the wrong setting is applied.

We will fix this soon and let you know once it’s solved.

Thank you very much for finding and reporting this!

Best,
Leo
