Encouraged by @Luis excellent suggestion here: Date-fns Interactive Format Builder I thought I would share a workflow that I must use at least daily:
I think I have mentioned the JSONata Exerciser before but it is so useful in working out your evaluate
strings. However one of the problems is that often if you copy some JSON it is not nicely formatted, some online pages will reformat it into something more readable and of course, you can always drop it into your AI of choice and ask for a more human-readable format however, if you use a Mac and run Alfred
(I expect there is something similar for Raycast
but I seem to be in an Alfred
phase then the Pretty JSON is about as fast as you can get and so handy, just copy the JSON run the command your clipboard will be replaced with the formatted version ready to paste. In addition, it gives you a popup if your JSON is not valid.
