Use idle session timeout to configure a policy on how long users can be inactive in your organization before they’re signed out of Tape. This helps protect sensitive company data and adds another layer of security.
Turn on:
- Go to your organization settings by clicking on your organization’s name in the top-left corner.
- Select ‘Security’ from the sidebar.
- Under ‘User Security’, choose the time for ‘Idle session timeout’ that users can be inactive before they are automatically logged out.
When a user has been inactive in Tape for the time period you selected, they’ll see the prompt. They must choose either ‘Stay signed’ in or be automatically signed out of Tape.
