If dashboards had buttons... they could trigger automations and more

Still thinking about how to improve sensitive apps with self service (think “reporting sick”). Currently we have an app, where users are listed. They only see themself in the table. There they have a button / category field, where they can trigger an automation to create a record automatically and share them with them. So only their records are visible in the table.

Now if dashboards had a way to trigger automations (personalised)… we could add links or buttons that call an automation. Would be better UX.

you are absolutely right :blue_heart:
We also see that a button block would add huge value to trigger automations directly from dashboards. Our plan is to roll out this button together with the new record actions – so it will be available both in records and in dashboards. That way we only need to implement it once.
