Keyword Shortcuts for Favorites Apps

It would be fantastic to have keyboard shortcuts for the favorites apps that create a new record after the keyword shortcut is clicked.

I would prefer to use the numeric pad (from 0 to 9) to create new records quickly based on the order in which the app is positioned in the favorites.
