Webinar Description:

Tape already offers powerful built-in automation and integration capabilities, but sometimes you need to go one step further.

In this webinar, we’ll explore how external automation tools can help extend Tape’s functionality, streamline your workflows, and connect even more dots across your digital ecosystem.

We’ll cover:

  • When to use external automation tools — recognising the limits of built-in features and knowing when it’s time to look outside Tape.
  • What tools are available — a quick tour of popular platforms like Zapier, Make, n8n, and custom Webhook/API options.
  • How to connect them to Tape — from triggers and webhooks to authentication and data mapping.

Live demos will include practical use cases such as:

  • Updating a Tape status field directly from a link in an email.
  • Creating a new Tape record (with a PDF attachment) when a Google Doc is saved in a specific Drive folder.
  • Generating a monthly accounts Google Sheet based on Tape data, ready for your accountant or finance team.

We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Luis and Jason

As @R.J kindly mentioned, the session is happening today, and there’s still time to book your place!

If you’ve been using a platform that integrates with Zapier and you’re now wondering how to replicate your workflows, why not join us? Put me on the spot! I’ll do my best to give you a solid answer and, if time allows, even build an example live during the session.

I’m not sure why but this time the link to the meeting wasn’t in the calendar invite. Not sure if I manually put it there every month and just forgot this time or if something was different.

Either way, I’m grateful that we record the meetings so that I can watch them when I do miss them for reasons.

I will check the calendar invite to see why link was not there. Still, the webinar link should be the same every time (unless we move from Google Meets).
