This would make it so much easier to know the index of the fields. When working with the Tape API on external tools, I constantly have to reference the index position of the fields. The more fields I add to the apps, the more tricky it becomes. This minor thing would be immensely useful.
NOTE: I just noticed on these screenshots that the “Unique ID” field was skipped. Is that intended?
@Luis - I hadn’t noticed this request before until you shared in the webinar today. But I agree, this is a good approach to use so that the ‘primary field’ AND other field positioning can be set linearly even though the main layout may not have a perfect linear matching. @Tim - Is there any inherent issue with using the ‘developer setting’ list to be the editable linear layout of fields with the new record layout?
