Notifications - Select workspace

Hello folks,

Rocking tape for couple years so farā€¦ Love it.

We have some task where certain workspaces need a lot of updates in short period of time.

Im receiving a lot of phone notifications about itā€¦

Any chance to limit some workspaces not to send notification?

Iā€™m on my phone so I canā€™t include a screenshot but you can mark an automation block as ā€˜silentā€™ so you donā€™t get notifications. Not sure if that helps.

Hi Ivica,

Great to hear that youā€™ve been enjoying Tape for the past few years!

There are several ways to prevent unnecessary notifications:

  • As @1F2Ns kindly mentioned, you can mark automation actions as silent. No notifications will then be created for those actions.
  • When importing records, you can also choose not to create any notifications.
  • For larger record updates, another helpful option is to use Bulk edit in the table view to unfollow all relevant records in an app for your user. This prevents you from receiving notifications whenever those records are updated.
  • In the new Member field within the new Record Experience, you can also disable the notifications that would otherwise be sent when you are added as a member.

I think these options should give you several effective ways to significantly reduce unnecessary notifications during larger update processes.
