I have an app called Communications. This app logs all Twilio communications, such as phone calls and text messages.
I also have a Leads app, and in this app, I have a calculation field called Communications History. This field displays all communications for the lead using the Show field (multi-line text from communication app).
The contents of the Show field are:
"
Company Number:
+12391234567
Contacts Number:
2011234567
1 Minute
"
Under my main Tape Admin Account the lead card shows all the show field data. but when logged in as employee account it only shows the following.
"
Company Number: +
Contacts Number:
Minutes
"
This is for the same exact lead. As you can see the phone numbers are missing and so is the duration of the call this is very wierd. This only happens when logged in as an employee. Can someone please tell me why is this happening?
Please have a look at the screenshot. Notice how the show field in the communications app looks for an employee. It appears all integer data is being removed such as phone numbers and call duration. The employee has view permissions. When logged into my account I can view all the data fine.
P.S I just give the employee full acess permissions to this app, but the employee account still can not view all the info in "show " field. ChatGPT is saying this appears as a Tape bug

“It looks like what you’re seeing isn’t just a view‑setting quirk, but actually a bug in Tape’s calculation/roll‑up logic that strips out any pure numeric substrings for non‑admin roles even when those roles have full access to the field in question”
OMG im pulling my hair out in addition to that I noticed every integer value for every single field is missing please have a look at the screenshot.
Screenshot for shared members with any type of access
as you can see all the data is there from my account. I dont know what is going on? but Tape is not usable like this as my team can’t see any relevant data. I was so excited about tape thinking it was going to be better then podio, but it seems unusable.
Ok so I found out what the issue was. I was using two Browsers Chrome for my account and Firefox for the employee account. I then said to myself as a last effort let me try logging into the employee account via Chrome. After I logged in via chrome, I noticed all the data was there. It’s a Firefox CSS issue you guys may want to look into this. The integer values are displaying as white blending in with the background via “FireFox 137.0.2 - Mozilla Firefox snap for Ubuntu”. Chrome is fine. I’m so happy chrome is working, I can continue to use Tape
@1F2Ns I don’t have any add-ons installed although I do have a dark theme on my Ubuntu Desktop. My system theme in FireFox is set to auto e.g(follow the opertaing system setting for buttons, menus and windows) . The CSS bug is not the biggest issue as I could just have my employees log in to their account using chrome. I rarely use Firefox, I was just using it for testing member sharing.
