Wow this is epic!
I wonder if it would be possibile to adapt this template to work with another smtp provider’s API. I’m using SMTP2go for example. Do you guys know it?

Another question is: do you think it it’s possibile to extract the recipient from the contact app that already exists in my organization?

Thank you in advance

Hi @Michele

In Principle you could use SMTP2go they have an API you can send via and Webhooks for opened, bounced etc however I can’t see how they handle inbound email although I have only had a quick look.

Your second question: There is no reason why you should not just search that app and change the relationship field to point to your current app.

You are right: I don’t think SMTP2go handle inbound emails. I could just use this workspace for managing the outbound ones deactivating the automations I don’t need

As Jason mentions, you can extract recipients from any app on Tape. To change it on this template, first go to “Customize Fields” and change From and To to your contact app.

Then go to the Send Email Action automation and change the “Get Related” and “Postmark API” like so:

If you plan to use the template only for outbound emails, you can deactivate the automation “Inbox/Reply-to,” “Junk Email,” and “Reply (with comment).”

To use the Postmark API with your contacts app (for Inbound and Outbound), you must update all the automation above with the new contact app reference.
