Problem with formatted record IDs

I use a formatted record ID as a field in the record, which I use for tickets and extract them later on again from an inbound mail.


However: making a match in automation seems only to provide the pure record ID for conditional actions filter, not the formated one? The required field “TicketID” isn’t even shown in the list.

I think this is a bug, it should also list the formated record ID field “TicketID” for the conditional actions.

(I know there is a workaround for calculations - similar problem - by @Jason here: [✅ Solution] Formatted ID in calculation field - I could probably also write a workaround for this case to strip the formatting. However, to many workarounds decrease the ease of low code. I’d rather had the “TicketID” field available in the automation ;).)
