Hello,
When clicking a record link on a mobile device, the Tape app is never opened. The link always opens in the browser, even when the Tape mobile app is installed.
I’m using the following URL format, as suggested by @dirk_s :
https://tapeapp.com/ORGANIZATION/record/RECORDID
This was tested on:
- iOS
- Android
In both cases, the behavior is the same: the link opens in the mobile browser and does not redirect to the Tape app at all.
Expected behavior:
If the Tape app is installed on the device, the link should open the corresponding record directly inside the app. This makes it difficult to use record links in automations (e.g., sending record URLs to clients via email or messaging apps).
Please let us know if deep linking to records is supported or if this is a bug. @Tim @Stefan
