Add an extra layer of account security with a second method of verification, also known as Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) or Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Why enable 2FA?
Even if someone has your password, they’ll need a second code from an authenticator app to access your account. It’s simple and available for all Tape users.
Your options:
- Use your favorite authenticator app: Microsoft authenticator, Google authenticator, or any trusted app, just scan the QR code to set it up.
- Add two different authenticator apps: Set up two apps for backup. If one isn’t working, the other has you covered.
- Backup codes: Lost your phone? Use one-time backup codes to access your account.
Manage 2FA
You can update, add, or remove verification methods anytime from your preferences. Locked out? An organization owner can help.
Is 2FA required?
Not mandatory, but highly recommended. Adding 2FA gives you peace of mind and an extra layer of security to protect your work.
