With your incredible support, Tape has grown.
As we scale, we keep investing in our infrastructure and technology to ensure a high level of reliability.
To reduce disruption, we’ll complete this work over the weekend.
Scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 05:00 to 06:00 AM UTC
Tape will be unavailable for part of the maintenance window.
The same information will be published on our status page
Our team will be with you, providing live updates here.
Thank you again for your support. We’re very happy to be part of this community.
All systems are fully operational. The database upgrade is complete, and everything is running as expected. Total downtime was only about 3 minutes out of the planned 60 minutes.
All calculations and automations have resumed and are processing as normal.
Thank you for your patience — we’re grateful to have such an understanding community!
Following last weekend’s infrastructure upgrade, we identified an additional refinement that will help make Tape even more reliable. This Sunday, we’ll perform a short infrastructure review to further improve the stability and performance. We expect only minimal impact for a few minutes. Thanks for your patience while we continue improving the foundation of Tape. As usual, we’ll keep you informed.
Following today’s infrastructure review, everything was completed successfully and ran as expected. Thank you again for your patience, and have a great weekend.
Thanks @dirk_s, it’s always great to hear when Tape feels faster.
Improving performance is a core part of our development work and something we focus on and track every day. After the database upgrade, we noticed a few additional areas we could still refine. Nothing critical, but performance is something we care deeply about.
The results are looking very positive, and our tests are showing clear improvements as well. At the same time, we will of course continue working on reliability and speed, as we always do, including with every new feature release.
