What does this do? Pass field/variable values

I noticed an option on “When another automation calls” under the settings "Pass field values"
and "Pass variable values."

What does that do, and what can it be used for?

This is a really cool feature that I don’t use enough you can send variables from one Automation to the next when you set that you want a variable in the receiving automation then your call automation block gets an extra option to set the variable to send

I really do love this feature! On top of what Jason said - this lets you skip “Get Related” actions and just get field or variable values directly from the calling automation. Just adds a bit of efficiency to your flows.
