When creating new records after filtering view

Maybe I am a little slow but noticed something that did not found here from anyone that was mentioned.

We all have views in apps, team or private, filter on related fields, single or multi select or whatever.
And whatever view is in use and you hit new record button all of the “filtering” is pre filled. It’s doesn’t matter if you have relationship, single or multi select fields., it is all there in new record.
We found this way is much more faster for our use cases compared to record templates.

Interesting. I hadn’t noticed that yet. But I see that being helpful when looking at a certain view and needing to add something that belongs in that view and not having to have custom new item templates pre-defined for doing such.

I haven’t used this much in Tape but used to use it a lot in AirTable it is a really good tip that is easily forgotten about.
