Why can't we update an image field in an Dashboard app with Tape Automation?

is it currently not possible or am I just not able to find out how it works?

Hi, unless I am missing what you are asking, you can’t run any automations on a Dashboard app and the image /image embed is completely separate to any DB app therefore can not be updated.

In the same way the text block and headings can not.
The only way i can think of displaying an image the changes via automation on a dashboard app would be to embed an image field in a webpage and then embed that in the Dashboard this would mean when you updated the image via automation the webpage would bring in the new image on the next load and that would mean the Dashboard when next refreshed - Now i have to say I am not a huge dashboard user so i maybe missing something.
