A very common use case is that we send an email to a client with an update on a project, and we want to associate that back to their notes. We have an activities app that we use the email to app feature, and we will cc that in our external email thread so that a copy lands here. It’s only useful if we know who that email is sent to, so that we can have an automation match what projects that email is associated with and link this communication activity to that particular project.
I don’t see this as a feature request. I see this as a bug that needs to get fixed, or the email-to-app functionality continues to be of very minimal use for cases like this.

We took a quick look at this feature over the weekend, and it was actually a real low-hanging to modernize this part and also provide the To email field alongside From and Cc in the field mapping.
Good news: this has already been rolled out and released. We also tested it briefly on our side, and it worked as expected
Could you please double-check it on your side as well and let us know whether everything now works as expected? If yes, I would then mark this as done.

My only feedback is that if I use two email addresses in the To line, only the first gets mapped into the designated field. Nowhere does it show that the other To values were included in this communication.
Having that first To Address is most critical, and works, so I’d still say this is done.
While testing, it looks like it allows the ability to get more than one CC addresses mapped, so being able to also have all the To addresses mapped (if more than one is used) during this step that would be nice.

At some point, we basically stopped submitting feature requests for Podio because we just didn’t expect anything to happen anymore.
