Podio login

In the last few days, logging into Podio has been a real headache. When it did work, it was incredibly slow. What is your experience here?

Never had a problem with Tape. Always logged in smoothly.

We made the switch a few weeks ago. I’m familiar with the usual Podio login issues as well, but since moving here, I’ve had no login problems at all.

Having started my journey with Podio back in 2013 I can confidently say that Podio is broken and has been broken for multiple years now. It’s unfortunate because it was a game changer when it came to market.

We migrated to Tape ~2 years ago and have never looked back.

My team’s favorite features are:

  • It simply works (sounds weird to say, but Podio is regularly broken)
  • Updates without having to refresh the page
  • They LOVE the way tasks work over here -especially the checklist feature

We have yet to have any unexpected downtime or failed automations in Tape.

We’ve also never had any issues logging in, and our team has been online almost daily for over a year.

My Podio login was down for nearly the entire weekend as well. The support chat wasn’t available, either. It feels like things are just going from bad to worse.

@Alex @AnaS Just to clarify, what exactly do you mean by ā€˜Podio login’ so we can better answer your questions about how it works here?

Do you mean it doesn’t recognize your username/password, or that you can’t access the Podio login page at all?

@DigiTom I’m talking about the Podio login here: https://podio.com/login

They’re talking about all of the down time in Podio… Their last update broke more stuff, again :disappointed:

@1F2Ns is right on this one, appreciate the tip!
@Alex your login issue might be related to some recent issues. Here’s what I found over the past few days:

If you’re still having trouble with your login, reaching out to the support team is probably your best move, or just come here.

Interesting. All I saw: Sorry, it seems Podio is down right now

Could someone responsible for the Podio login or the current issues join this discussion? I’m sure more people have the same problems and are interested in knowing what’s no longer working with Podio.

Sorry, @AnaS I don’t think that’s possible. This is actually the Tape community  They’re two different tools.
I haven’t had any login issues with Tape, and honestly, I feel much more comfortable using Tape, so I don’t follow Podio issues anymore. If Podio login keeps causing problems, it might be time to consider alternatives. I’d recommend giving Tape a try: https://get.tapeapp.com/

It’s totally understandable if you’re feeling a bit confused because Podio’s help/support can be tricky.

For support on the Podio platform, you’ll want to check out this link:
https://support.sharefile.com/s/

If you’re new to Tape and ended up here by mistake thinking it was a Podio support community, welcome to Tape—it’s just like Podio, but it just works and has the features you want.

Here is their roadmap

Sorry about that! I just clicked on a Reddit post where someone was having the same issues with Podio login as me, and I thought I was in the Podio community. I didn’t even realize ShareFile was connected to Podio, and I just found out Podio was sold again! A bit of confusion, but it seems that getting a little off track has its advantages. I just signed up, and Tape looks really nice! We’ll test it with the team now. Are there many Podio users switching to Tape?

Hi @AnaS, I think a lot of people have moved over to Tape, like I did. Tape just works, and we really appreciate the innovative features—just take a look at the dashboards!

@AnaS just to let you know, I started this conversation and shared the link on Reddit.
Apologies for any confusion; I was just really frustrated with Podio after a weekend of non-stop issues. Decided to give Tape a try, and I’m honestly pretty impressed so far. We really like the charts. Our team has already imported all our data into Tape, and I hope we’ll be fully switched over next week.

In addition: Today, once again, Podio isn’t working on my end. I keep getting this message: ā€œThe server took too long to respond, please try againā€ every time I try to add a relation. And just yesterday, we got an email from the new Podio owner saying, Progress is making everything better. Hard to believe at this point.

Quick recap - 1 month of Tape with our team!

From day one, the entire team has been happy with Tape. Over the past 4 weeks, Tape has introduced more features than Podio did in 4 years! :joy:

A big thank you for all your support and motivation—it truly made a difference!
And @team Tape, you’ve been doing such an amazing job—I’m excited to see more of your great work next year too. Just booked the annual plan.

Wishing you all a wonderful end to the year and a fantastic holiday season!
