🆕 General conditions for rules in dashboard apps

One dashboard, different views. You can now hide or show blocks based on who’s viewing your dashboard or which device they’re using.

Keep a report visible to workspace admins, hide a text block from a specific group, or leave out detailed charts on mobile.

:books: How to get started

  1. Open any dashboard app, click ••• in the top-right corner, then select Unlock dashboard.
  2. Hover over a block and open the ⋮⋮ menu.
  3. Select Rules, then choose Hide block or Show block.
  4. Under When, add a condition and select Current user or Device from General.

:sparkles: What’s new

  • Current user Choose specific people, groups, Workspace admins, Workspace members, Guest, or Public link. Show a sales report only to your sales team or hide internal notes from visitors using a public link.
  • Device Choose Desktop or Mobile. Hide a wide block on mobile or show a compact summary designed for smaller screens.

These conditions work just like they do in database apps or form apps. Now you can use them in your dashboards, too.

Happy building.
