I was wondering if we could have a new record field called “HTML” that would be similar to the 🆕 Action · Display a message on a web page · Workflow Automation.
From my understanding an HTML editor (Tiny MCE) already exists in Tape’s automation. Would it be possible to add it as a field? Something like this:
It should work exactly the same as Display Message on a Web Page automation, possibly with options to add reference variables (like in calculation field). The response value from that field should look something like this:
It would be amazing to have this feature because it will make working with HTML on the record level way easier. Also it should allow to get HTML from an external source and add in the “source code” value while keeping the visual editor.
The reason I would love to have this feature is to allow Tape to be a more sophisticated CMS (as I discuss here). I’m also experimenting with an email inbox in Tape and the HTML field would be fantastic for that.
