Keyboard shortcuts

Tape´s workflow automation is fully equipped with keyboard shortcuts, so you can do everything without touching the mouse. Hover over various icons and other automation elements to get keyboard shortcuts.

You’ll see cmd/ctrl used a lot below. This indicates command on Mac and control on Windows and Linux.

Most popular

Automation editor:

  • Press cmd/ctrl + S to save the changes
  • Press cmd/ctrl + 1 to open the run sidebar
  • Press cmd/ctrl + left arrow key to navigate to the automation center

Automation center:

  • Press cmd/ctrl + S to search
  • Press cmd/ctrl + left arrow key to expand sidebar
  • Press cmd/ctrl + right arrow key to collaps sidebar

General

  • Press cmd/ctrl + F to search the current page
  • Press cmd/ctrl + left arrow key to go back to the previous page
  • Press cmd/ctrl + right arrow key to go forward to the next page
  • To use keyboard navigation you can press the Tab key to move focus forward, or press the Shift and Tab keys at the same time to move focus backward.

What is the reason that the global search is triggered by CMD+P?

I would like to create a quick PDF report and use the browser’s print function CMD+P, but the search menu is always visible in the PDF.
