I’ve run into this before too and noticed the same behavior with other tools when using CMD + P.
Here’s a little hack (but don’t expect too much):
If you click into Chrome’s address bar (where the URL is) and then press CMD + P, it brings up the print or save-as-PDF function for me.
Is there a keyboard shortcut to open the search when in an app view? I’m so programmed to hit S on my keyboard in “that other platform” and I’m really missing it here. Maybe this is already there and I’m missing it?
Thanks tomaz! I hadn’t considered using the global search, that is a pretty great idea, but I was also just looking for a way to open the search window in a particular app and having the app respond to the search to try and limit the results. But this is definitely the next best thing
From previous platform I was also just using S and was a little disappointed when this was not the case here.
But filters are much more powerful here and now I have been using little search bar inside one app. Search is way better and useful than it is at other platform.
